Shannon Johnson Photography was born out of a mother's love for photo memories and desire to provide them to people at an affordable cost. Capturing precious moments is my passion! Time waits for no man and in the blink of an eye children become adults, chapters in life close and new ones open, and rarely do we have time to stop and just remember. Photographs help us to do just that.... remember.

Memories in the form of photographs should be available to anyone who desires them but so often photographer's prices are unaffordable for many. It's my goal to provide top quality photography at an affordable price for both local and destination sessions.

My Sessions

My sessions are laid back, authentic and fun! Whether you want to book a session locally, or book a destination session at an epic location, I will always work to make your experience unique, authentic, unforgettable, and beautiful! You don't need to worry about the what if's when you book a session with me. If you book a session with a small child and they melt down mid photo... IT'S OK!! I'll capture the beauty of that meltdown (you'll see the beauty later lol) and try my best to settle the little one down. After all, what's the point of capturing a moment if it's not real? If everything isn't exactly right at our location.. no worries.. we will make it work! If you spilled something on your clothes on the way to the shoot.. oops! No need for a meltdown though. We will make it work! Wake up the morning of the session with a big ole pimple? Never fear... I don't change appearances in editing, but I will do my best to edit out anything that won't be there in 14 days (ie: pimples, blemishes, bruises, etc.).

My Style

I describe my photo style as simply REAL beauty! My images are bold and colorful and are edited to show the authentic beauty of every one of God's creations! EVERYONE IS BEAUTIFUL and I try to capture that beauty along with unique personalities bold, true colors and real life!
